I was asked about my conversion experience recently and I decided to make it a public witness. Thanks God for not only converted me but led me through my 19-year of Christian life. Glory to our heavenly father.
I studied in a Christian primary school and had heard about Jesus for a long time. When I was in secondary 1 in Munsang College, I was perceived by teachers as a very obedient and smart student with good qualities. However, I was so arrogant and, hence, boycotted by classmates. In addition, I knew I was not a really good person. I stole money from my parents. I was not honest and told lies. My thoughts were dirty and occupied by pornographies.
I pretended to be a perfect student but I knew there was sin that I could not handle myself. This made me suffered and depressed. In an evangelistic meeting in 1995, a pastor reminded me that the price of salvation had been paid by Jesus’ blood on the cross. In Jesus, we became new-born babies with all sin washed away. That was the greatest message for me. Tears ran down from my eyes and I was touched by the Holy Spirit to follow Jesus.
